A Poem on the Website of

The Dandelion Gypsy
by Tatyanna Neely (Jun 2008)

I will make a stand
And pick some dandelions.
Then put them in a shiny wagon.

I will go down the street
Dressed as a Gypsy;
People will stare, but I don’t care.

Across from the farmers market
Some will stop, and some will not.
But it makes no difference to me.

Some will buy three or four or five;
It doesn’t cost but a bit -
Besides, what are a few pennies to you?

It means the world
To a small little girl
Who calls herself the Dandelion Gypsy.
